Black-and-white photos can bring life to the small details that might otherwise go unnoticed, like the pattern of smoke in light. These are all photos of Landon Buchert.   A face in frame brings your focus right to them. These photos were taken on November 12th. Lighting can bring out colors so hidden. Some things are just so mesmerizing in the darkness.

 

  Vincent Ruff is a barista at the Roastrunners cafe in the LBCC campus at the Albany location. Vincent is an 18-year-old LB student majoring in Marine Biology. He chose to work at Roastrunners because he has previous experience as a barista. He's worked there for about a year and a half now.  Vincent says that the best part of his job is working with coworkers, and the hardest part is during the rush hours when it gets jam-packed in the cafe. Vincent said he enjoys working at Roastrunners "because once I knew how to do everything, it became really easy."  Vincent's hobbies outside of work and school are drawing and hiking.
