All about me!

                                                      

    My name is Lilly cline, I am an 18-year-old Journalism major at Linn-Benton Community College. I have a passion for all types of art. I love drawing, painting, pottery, poetry, writing, photography, or anything you can think of that has to do with art. After college, I would love to pursue a career in journalism. I find journalism to be a very fulfilling career, and one of my life goals is to find a job I love instead of being stuck in a dead-end job I don't like.


     My goal in journalism is to capture life in still form, to tell the stories that most people ignore or pass over.  I took a photography class in high school, but I had been taking and editing photos for years before. I've always had an eye for art and the unspoken emotion behind every piece. Life is full of wonder, and I'd love to capture it all!

  Some personal facts about me are that I'm a mom, and I have a beautiful 6-month-old daughter named Evangeline. I had her when I was 17, a few months shy of my 18th birthday, so I am a teen mom. I will admit being a teen mom has its troubles, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Another fact about me is that I work a part-time job at McDonald's. I've never worked a job that was so chaotic and stuffy. The customers can be grumpy in the mornings, but it's a good thing I have a good talent for keeping a smile on my face!

Lebanon fall flee market and festival

     Welcome to a peek at this year's fall festival in Lebanon, OR. This year's event was packed full of smiling faces and busy activities. This fall festival was a Halloween and Back to Hogwarts-themed flea market, full of vendors with homemade items and fun activities for all ages. The festival took place on October 4th from 11am to 6pm.   A lovely picture of a mother and daughter. This sweet mama, Sarah, is enjoying the fall festival with her adorable daughter dressed as Gryffindor students from Harry Potter. It is amazing to see the joy and bonding of a mother and daughter at this time of year. These amazing ladies are a part of a group called the dancing witches. It was such a joy for everyone to experience the positivity of these ladies.  This couple, Rick and Jane, were so full of joy and spirit at the fall festival. They dressed as their Hogwarts houses to join in on the fun of Harry Potter.

working hard, or hardly working?

           Tree cutters in Foxfield, Lebanon, Oregon. working hard to keep the small park in the mobile home park nice and neat. The tree cutters are working to keep the trees trimmed and healthy, so they look neater. That way, the trees drop fewer branches into the park. making it look nicer and be safer for the little ones who play there.                This picture shows one of the workers dragging a tree limb that was cut down to keep it out of the way so no one gets hurt while working.      Taking a break sometimes can be good for you! Just like these workers, you never want to overdo it. Taking breaks to let yourself cool down saves you from overworking your body.
